Here are some potential questions you, and perhaps also your students, might want to think about:
- Is there anything that’s impractical?
- What is missing that you need to know?
- Is it clear what the students need to do at each stage?
- Are there any terms or concepts you’re not familiar with?
- Are the students doing enough of the science?
- Is there space for the students to make decisions about what to do?
- What materials do you feel would be helpful to help you run these lessons?
Very clear and easy to follow, very few resources needed. One of the boys in my class suggested repeating the experiment using a picture of a boy to see if that made a difference to the responses.

I agree with what has been said before, this is easy to follow and needs minimal resources to carry out.
Pupils here were concerned that they would be encouraging other pupils to judge others on their appearance, and as they are role modles in the school, this would have a negative impact on the positive ethos we have established and work hard to maintain in our school. We then agreed that by sharing the results of their research with the classes who were participating, this could be addressed. We had an interesting discussion around research and ehthics!
